Congratulations to Sam Southern on the publication of her paper, "Sustainable Carbon Fibers Enable Stable Long-Term Lithium Metal Deposition for Prospective Zero-Excess Lithium Metal Batteries," in Advanced Energy Materials!

This work presents a sustainable carbon fibre framework that enables uniform and stable lithium metal deposition, addressing key challenges associated with lithium metal anodes. By promoting long-term cycling stability and supporting the development of zero-excess lithium metal batteries, the research contributes an important step towards safer, higher-energy-density, and more sustainable next-generation energy storage.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and well done to Sam for leading this excellent collaborative work.
